Kybella FAQs

Answers to Frequently Asked Questions about Kybella and Chin Fat Reduction

What is Kybella?

Kybella is a deoxycholic acid. When injected into fat, it dissolves the fat and destroys the fat cells. These fat cells do not grow back once dead. Kybella is primarily used in the chin area to treat the appearance of a “double chin” but has been used in other areas of the body. Seeing a noticeable difference can take four to six weeks.

How long does Kybella last?

The effects of Kybella are long lasting, as long as you do not gain weight. The destruction of fat cells caused by Kybella is permanent. Three to four treatments are typically required to achieve the desired results.

How much does Kybella cost?

Kybella treatments typically cost $1,200 to $1,500 a session, depending on your unique needs and facial structure. During your consultation, we’ll develop an individualized plan that’s designed to achieve your goals. Please note that the $50 consultation fee will be applied to the cost of your treatments.
